Description: CFUW Nanaimo partnered with Vancouver Island University Faculty Association Status of Women Committee on a multi-prong strategy to raise awareness in the community about the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence - the Bastion & VIU Art Galley were lit in orange, banners were hung, the Mayor issued a renewed proclamation, and created a playlist of 1-minute videos where community members expressed support for victims of gender-based violence.
